Las Cruces Mayor Ken Miyagashima (far left) hosted a vigil at Plaza de Las Cruces in Downtown Las Cruces Monday, Aug. 4, to honor victims of El Paso's mass shooting. He was joined onstage by city councilors Jack Eackman, Gabe Vasquez, Yvonne Flores; New Mexico Lt. Gov. Howie Morales; U.S. Rep for 2nd Congressional District Xochitl Torres Small, among other area leaders, who spoke individually during the candlelight vigil.
