Living on the UTEP campus

Living so close to campus allows students to utilize its amenities, such as the library, the dining hall, and the recreation center with more ease. Forty-nine percent of the students living on campus are from El Paso. Those students see the opportunity to fulfill the college experience and allow them to be more independent.

With the $600 they pay in rent, there are plenty of perks including TV accommodations such as HBO GO, free WiFi, laundry, water and electricity services. The dorms help organize programs such as sand volleyball practices and private educational seminars to bring the dorm occupants closer together. Living on campus is also an easier option that allows students to cut down on gas costs and help the students who don’t drive get to their classes on time.
