Two Door Cinema Club returned to El Paso on Sept. 25 at the Plaza Theater along with their opener Petey for a sold-out show. The show is a part of their US and Canada tour, the biggest in their career.
The Nov. 5 election will give El Pasoans the opportunity to vote on a collection of propositions and races that will have an impact on the future, both locally and nationally.
As the fall season begins and Halloween approaches, El Pasoans can celebrate the spooky season with pumpkin patches, fall festivals, haunted houses, and trick-or-treating events, costume contents and much more throughout October.

Oct. 4 and 5, UTEP volleyball faced off against the Sam Houton Bearkats. With UTEP firing on all cylinders, the Miners went on to pick up both matches while playing at Memorial Gym. The Miners are still undefeated in conference play, with an overall record of 14-2. Coming into these games, UTEP had been on a five-game winning streak with a strong open to Conference-USA (C-USA) play, sweeping Florida International University on Sept. 28.
Coming off a much-needed bye week, the UTEP Miners football team (0-4, C-USA 0-1) faced off against Conference USA (C-USA) opponents Sam Houston Bearkats (4-1, C-USA 1-0).
Running from 9:15 am to 9:15 pm in the heart of Downtown, the event served as a reminder to the community that tattoos are more than just ink; they are living symbols of our collective stories, struggles, and identities. With each design serving as a permanent tribute to the history, culture, and experiences that define the people of El Paso.
The sixth annual Oculto Film Festival was a bi-national event, taking place in El Paso and Ciudad Juárez. The event gave horror enthusiasts a chance to watch films created by filmmakers from the borderland and around the world.

Coldplay announced the El Paso tour date for their newest album titled 'Moon Music.' The concert date set for June 13, 2025 marks the band's only stop in Texas.
Living legend, 39-year-old Lana Del Rey recently became one with 49-year-old swamp tour guide, Jeremy Dufrene. The private wedding took place in Des Allemandes, Louisiana Sept. 26.
For the seventh year in a row, West Texas’s Preeminent destination for Indie film has come and gone. The Film Festival’s fallout is one which hopes to inspire the inner director of those young and old.
Florafest, an event hosted by UTEP’s Centennial Museum and Chihuahuan Desert Gardens, took place Sept. 28. Customers could purchase native plants with the help of local gardening experts which helped support the museum and gardens.
Awarded by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), the grant is going to go toward the purchase and installation of medical equipment to train 126 students as registered nurses in partnership with El Paso Community College. This initiative will benefit many graduates from the technical and healthcare programs at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), setting them for successful careers.
