Leah Austin is staff reporter at the Prospector. As a sophomore multimedia journalism major, she wishes to pursue a career in investigative journalism and documentary film making after graduation.

Sebastian Perez-Navarro, Multimedia Editor

Sebastian Perez-Navarro is a sophomore majoring in communication studies. He hosts The Prospector Digest, UTEP's student led podcast. He is a freelance Play-by-Play broadcaster for 600 ESPN El Paso in Football, Basketball, and more. Sebastian is a proud member of the University's Speech and Debate Team. There, he competes in extemporaneous, impromptu, and argumentative settings. Currently, Sebastian is the UTEP beat writer for the Texas Sports Network.

Kristian Hernandez, Contributor/Photographer

Kristian Hernandez is a junior at UTEP majoring in media advertising. He has an associates degree in advertising/public relations from El Paso Community College. Hernandez has done photography for a couple of years covering things like local concerts, weddings, sports and car shows.
