Local coffee shop, Coffee Party, is rooted in the love for sharing coffee and making connections. In 2017, coffee enthusiast and owner Santiago Castro, started a fundraiser cafe in his mom’s living room, inviting friends over for a cup of coffee.
As it gained popularity amongst his friends, Santiago Castro planned to open a coffee shop, which would be operated by himself and his brother Jose Castro.
What began as a fundraiser café has evolved into a vibrant coffee shop where customers can enjoy great conversations and an excellent selection of coffee and beverages.
The coffee shop, located at 3803 Frutas Ave. inside The Falstaff, was born out of a charitable initiative, and now welcomes guests to savor sourced brews, craft specialty drinks, and delicious local pastries. Whether one is looking for a moment of peace with a perfectly brewed cup of coffee, or gathering to connect with friends, Coffee Party offers a welcoming environment for all.
Coffee Party’s welcoming atmosphere ensures that each visit is a bright experience. The coffee shop creates a sense of comfort, allowing guests to unwind and enjoy their time, fostering a sense of community and providing an opportunity for relaxation.
“The inspiration for creating Coffee Party was creating a space we would want to hang out at, and making coffee for people how we would like coffee to be made for us,” said Santiago Castro.
From espresso to creamy lattes, both hot and iced pour-overs, and a variety of specialty drinks like banana matcha and strawberry matcha, there is a perfect drink waiting for everyone to enjoy.
Indulging in the rich aromas and warm atmosphere, one can find a spot where community and quality come together. Coffee Party has become a local hotspot for coffee aficionados.
Coffee Party is set to celebrate its seventh anniversary in October, marking seven years of connections, community, and love for coffee.
As an addition to Coffee Party, Santiago Castro organizes a free weekly movie night event called “Movie Party”. Guests can vote on the next featured film on Instagram and enjoy of a free showing. Although entry is free, seating is limited, and refreshments and popcorn are sold at the event.

Movie Party held their most recent event, featuring a screening of David Lynch’s “Mulholland Drive”, as the sun set in the Sun City. Attendees were treated to a blend of thriller, horror, and mystery, accompanied with freshly popped popcorn and refreshing drinks.
