UTEP hosted its annual native plant sale, Florafest, on Oct. 9. The event welcomed shoppers into the outdoor area of the Undergraduate Learning Center, where they had more than 100 plant species to choose from, along with master gardeners’ expert advice. Florafest is a fundraiser for the maintenance and operation of the Chihuahuan Desert Gardens.
