The UTEP Career Center is set to host its 2021 virtual spring fair at 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Feb. 5.
According to an email sent by the department, 75 companies and organizations will be recruiting students from a variety of majors for internships and professional positions. Among the list is Sandia National Laboratories, El Paso Electric Company, Texas Instruments, the U.S. Department of State, Teach for America and the National Radio Astronomy Observatory.
The fair will be held online on Career Fair Plus at www.careerfairplus.com, with instructional videos provided.
Students can begin signing up for the one-on-one video interview slots on Friday, Jan. 29. However, some organizations will be using group meetings, where students can simply join, in addition to the one-on-one interview.
Students must access the event by logging in with their Miners email address. According to the Career Center, laptops or computers that have a camera will have the most functionality, but the fair is accessible by phone app as well.
Attendees are encouraged to update their LinkedIn profile or visit the “Résumé Review Clinic” during Career Week on Feb. 1- 4.
