The Office of Students Life sponsored the advancement symposium, which showcased informative talks about the dangers of alcoholism.
Alcohol Awareness Week will host week-long events sponsored by the Office of Student Life. Its purpose is to create awareness and educate students about the risks on consuming alcohol.
On Tuesday, March 7, The Advancement Symposium took place at the University Suite, Union East Building. From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., exhibitors from different organizations gave talks about alcohol awareness. Students got the opportunity to share their opinions and experiences. The main goal of the event was to prevent people from drinking and driving during spring break.
