Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman has been extradited to the United States to face drug trafficking among other charges.
According to Mexico’s Foreign Relations Department, “El Chapo” is in custody of the United States this Thursday, Jan. 19.
Guzman will be transferred to New York City, U.S officials confirmed.
