UTEP Residence Life, the Office of Student Life and the Department of Political Science threw an election watch party for students on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at Boquillas Hall in Miner Canyon. The watch party was a mix of student democrats, UTEP College Republicans, international students and faculty members. Political science professors Dr. Curry, Dr. Coronado and Dr. Boehmer attended the event to answer any questions students had about the election process. The night was full of mixed emotions as students reacted to a live-stream of CNN’s polling projections.
