PHOTOS: A celebration for Mexico’s independence day was hosted on Sept. 16 at San Jacinto Plaza by El Paso in downtown El Paso. Live music and different performances took place the light the celebration. Food trucks and venders in their tents filled the perimeter of the plaza. The celebration will continue on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 5 p.m.- midnight.
