On Tuesday, Jan. 20 UTEP celebrated the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The Student Engagement and Leadership Center hosted this celebration at the Union Plaza.
Corey Bailey, director of the student engagement and leadership center, said the best way to pay respect to King Jr. was looking back on his “I Have a Dream” speech.
Students and staff reflected on the true meaning of freedom and equality, and the contributions of those who fought against inequality around the world.
