Every Tuesday The Prospector releases a print edition of our publication. This means a long day of work every Monday that usually carries on into late hours of the night.
However, this time around we are producing our centennial edition of The Prospector, which will be 100 pages.
Between editing stories, finding sources, designing pages and the occasional shout-match, The Prospector editors listen to music to help get them through the night.
Here are some of this weeks’ choices:
Jasmine Aguilera, Editor-in-chief: “Half of Something Else,” The Airborne Toxic Event-
Amanda Guillen, Managing editor: “Back To You,” John Mayer-
Andrea Acosta, Entertainment editor: “Humanos A Marte,” Chayanne-
Javier Cortez, Sports editor: “Blame,” Calvin Harris-
Luis Gonzalez, Copy editor: “Da Da Da,” MolotovĀ –
Diego Burciaga, Layout editor: “Five Hours,” Deorro-
Jacobo De La Rosa, Assistant layout editor: “Take A Walk On The Wildside,” The Velvet Underground-
