Every Tuesday The Prospector releases a print edition of our publication. This means a long day of work every Monday that usually carries on into late hours of the night.
However, this time around we are producing our centennial edition of The Prospector, which will be 100 pages.
Between editing stories, finding sources, designing pages and the occasional shout-match, The Prospector editors listen to music to help get them through the night.
Here are some of this weeks’ choices:
Jasmine Aguilera, Editor-in-chief: “Inside Out,” Spoon-
Amanda Guillen, Managing editor: “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” Lauryn Hill-
Andrea Acosta, Entertainment editor: “Speak Life,” Toby Mac-
Luis Gonzalez, Copy editor: “The Chair,” George Strait-
Diego Burciaga, Layout editor: “Blowin’ In The Wind,” Bob Dylan-
Jacobo De La Rosa, Assistant layout editor: “Beyond Here Lies Nothing,” Bob Dylan-
Michaela Roman, Photography editor: “Spiderhead,” Cage the Elephant-
