Every Tuesday The Prospector releases a print edition of our publication. This means a long day of work every Monday that usually carries on into late hours of the night.
However, this time around we are producing our centennial edition of The Prospector, which will be 100 pages.
Between editing stories, finding sources, designing pages and the occasional shout-match, The Prospector editors listen to music to help get them through the night.
Here are some of this weeks’ choices:
Jasmine Aguilera, Editor-in-chief: “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards,” Arctic Monkeys (Tame Impala cover)-
Amanda Guillen, Managing editor: “Out of my League,” Fitz and the Tantrums-
Luis Gonzalez, Copy editor: “Colder Weather,” Zac Brown Band-
Diego Burciaga, Layout editor: “Hoppipolla,” Sigur Ros-
Andrea Acosta, Entertainment editor: “Chandelier,” Sia-
Michaela Roman, Photography editor: “Back to the Shack,” Weezer-
Jacobo De La Rosa, Assistant layout editor: “Fame,” Citizen Cope-
Kimberly Valle, Staff reporter: “Pretend,” Tinashe ft. ASAP Rocky-
