Every Tuesday The Prospector releases a print edition of our publication. This means a long day of work every Monday that usually carries on into late hours of the night.
However, this time around we are producing our centennial edition of The Prospector, which will be 100 pages.
Between editing stories, finding sources, designing pages and the occasional shout-match, The Prospector editors listen to music to help get them through the night.
Here are some of this weeks’ choices:
Jasmine Aguilera, Editor-in-chief: “Song for Zula,” Phosphorescent-
Amanda Guillen, Managing editor: “Shake It Off,” Taylor Swift-
Luis Gonzalez, Copy editor: “Eterna Soledad,” Enantos Verdes-
Diego Burciaga, Layout editor: “Lazy Eye,” Silversun Pickups-
Andrea Acosta, Entertainment editor: “Oh Boy!,” Buddy Holly-
Javier Cortez, Sports editor: “Gimme The Loot,” Biggie Smalls-
Michaela Roman, Photography editor: “Fire It Up,” Modest Mouse-
Jacobo De La Rosa, Assistant layout editor: “The Golden Age,” The Asteroids Galaxy Tour-
