KLAQ hosted their annual Great River Raft Race on Saturday July 13th . The race began at the Vinton bridge in Vinton, Texas and concluded at the Canutillo bridge in Canutillo, Texas. Participants were challenged to make their own rafts and boats. Prizes and trophies were awarded for the best-looking crew and best decorated raft. Participants celebrated after the race at Little Bit of Texas for an after party with live music and prizes. This is the third KLAQ Great River Raft Race since its 28 year hiatus in 1983.
